Colbe is off to his 4th day of sport's camp at Lifetime Fitness. It's a sleepy summer day in the Piloto home. I just can't get enough of our little doll face. ![]() Or when you ask her a question and she doesn't have an immediate answer she says, "uuuum". Our favorite is when she says, "hey, get back here!" It's so cute. She nods when asked if she is ready for a nap and then asks for a binki, she repeats everything we say, she says (very sweetly), "thank you Mommy" and "thank you Daddy" when you give her something or fix something for her. She sang, "jingle bells, all the way HEY!" She also sang, "Santa Clause is coming to toooooooown." I'm really loving all of the communication we are getting with her so early. It is so important to remember her sweet sentiments during this time. Ice skating and Wakefield Court have become a tradition and we even got Everly on skates! It was great fun.Įverly's vocabulary has seemed to have doubled this past couple of weeks. It was a bit chilly and the animals were hard to see but she did like the alligator and giraffes. Anthony wasn't too pleased with his Howard Stern book but we got a kick out of it! We took Colbe and Everly to the zoo. We had a great week as usual getting to see our cousins and playing our white elephant game. The week before Christmas we loaded up the presents and our little elves and drove to California. Everly was SUPER excited to go down the snow slide and to ride the carousel (though she needed Mommy to ride with her once it came time). ![]() In mid December we took the kids to the Magical Forrest. I have a feeling Evie will too! We did a couple trips to look at the lights in the neighborhood and also made a not so successful trip to see the lights at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. The boys are reluctant to listening to my Burl Ives Pandora station but I think they secretly love it. We started the holiday season by turning on Christmas music, making real hot chocolate and decorating the house. Everly who seemed to understand and and partake in much more of the holiday festivities than I expected at just 19 months old. ![]() He is enjoying us help keep the magic alive for little Miss. Colbe unveiled that he has crossed the line from believers to make-believers. What fun it's been to (again) re-live the new found magic of Christmas for a new believer. Another wonderful Christmas season is in the books. The stockings are put away and the carols turned off.
